I had some Infinity Kappa speakers I bought for my old Road Glide a long time ago.Did not use them because they were 2 ohm(bought the wrong ones) and I was running 4 ohm with the ARC amp.
Well I thought I would install them on my new bike in the batwing.
I was suprised to see that HD is still using the same old speakers, just like the ones in my '06 which I still have.
The Kappas sure sound better!
I bought some 62.9 KAPPAs and as soon as my painted inner fairing arrives I will be installing them. Glad to hear that you like the sound. It gives me confidence that I chose the right speakers.

Same as you I bought the 2 ohm Infinitys for my old RoadGlide but never got around to putting them in.I know the demo models I heard sounded great.I probably should list 'em for sale, just been too lazy.
I'm running HogTunes all the way around in my FLHTCU off the stock HK stereo and really pleased with the sound.
So we got the old style speakers? I figured with it being (almost top of the line ) limiteds they would of installed the boom speakers as an upgrade from the factory. Maybe its just me but I love the sound from my limited and its totally bone stock so far. I'm gonna ride it like I stole it and crank it till it blows until the 7 yr warranty runs out. Nice color choice, I almost got that instead of my cherry/merlot limited. Stay safe.

Now, try this. Go to www.hellsfoundry.com & check out the woof pak. I put one in, back in April. My stereo is now nicer than most cars. This thing works!

Stupid question but how can you hear if your pak is full of stuff and the lid is closed?
