While at the Florida HOG Rally last Friday I saw the Helibar vendor and really liked the comfort of these bars. Anyone have any experience with them on a touring bike?

I had these installed on my SG during biketoberfest. Been only 11 days but love them. Was astonished at the difference in comfort by having the bars back toward me more. I haven't yet played with different settings but will. The adjustments are very easy with a 16mm allen wrench.
Some years ago, before I wised up and bought a Harley, I installed Helibars on a Honda ST1100. Rode that bike all over the eastern U.S. and I have to say that the Helibars really made a HUGE difference in the ride comfort of the bike. That said, I remember it took for.....ev......er to get the dang things shipped. I don't know what their manufacturing process is now, but their response back then was "you'll get 'em when you get 'em", or at least that's what I heard them say. Said they could only manufacture any particular bars for any particular bike when they had enough orders to make it worth their while. If they had not already charged, and received payment from, my credit card I would have said "no thanks" right then. Like I said, really made the bike more comfortable to ride, fit and finish was excellent and installed easily with excellent instructions. One thing though, the Heli bars definitely changed the look of that ST1100 - and not necessarily for the good. Am wondering if a different set of risers or different traditional looking bars might keep the Harley look and change the ergos to your satisfaction.
I've never had a set of the helibars but have looked at them and for the most part like them.
The first disadvantage is of course the price!!!!!!!! $800.00 for a set of handle bars.
This is somewhat offset by the adjustability; your almost guaranteed to find the right personal fit. No 5 different sets of bar before finding the right fit.
The next disadvantage is no internal wiring. Important to some, not important to others.
Very futuristic design, Classic looks are out the window.
I have a 09 Road King with an aftermarket fairing and the crossbar on the Road King style bars would not work for me. They dont have any good pictures of the glide bars.
