My first group ride
Only 7 bikes, from Yorktown to Richmond and back (just under 200 miles) but what a nice day
Perfect weather, not hot, not cold, pretty scenery
I have to say, despite the loss of any "hot rod" look with my pillow top seat and 10 inch Fastaire, I call it a complete success.
I cant even imagine putting the stock seat back on in town
The wife and I were not sore in any way, were comfortable all day, bike ran good with no noises in any gear and it LOVED 6 gear on I-95 well above legal speed limits
Only beef I had was a sort of hot rod race with a buddies straight piped 80 inch Dyna, I had to learn to shift using the tach because I couldnt hear MY bike LOL
Game plan is much quieter than straight pipes, but I do need a little bark, true duals and slip-ons once a SERT is available for the 07
