Ryan, please don't think we are attacking you personally. We appreciate you looking into this for us. What we don't like it to be strung along. Especially in the north where our riding seasons are shorter.
If the product is not going to be in until December then tell us December. Some will stick with you some will not. Those that do not will appreciate the honesty. But hearing 2 more weeks every 2 weeks is not good business. I took my bike an hour away and left it at the dealer because he was told the pipes were in stock and would be there within a week.
I understand in this economy that no one can afford to let an order but I think it's better if customers leave they leave on good terms.
I did a Stage IV back in June and all I wanted was a set of new baffles to go with it.
They told my guy it would be backordered until September. I went elsewhere.

It was at a Harley dealership that deals direct with you guys. I've even seen your rep in their store. I did go with your Double Ceramic Coated True Duels though, if that helps you out.
I dont feel that way at all. I am on your side because i've been there and strung along the same way. I completly agree with you that people need accurate info, and if it's not possible let the person know. I just want people to understand that we don't just keep saying two weeks so we can hang on to a sale. We try to provide the best information we can and a lot of times we can only pass the information we receive. I was just forwarded your email and will reply directly to you with some options we have. The heatshields you need were the ones that didn't pass inspections and will have to go through the entire process again. Thanks for hanging in there with us and I'll do my best to make this right.
Ryan
can you explain what the "entire process" is? thanks.
I have to leave the exact details out but I can summerize the process. The tube has to be bent, the heatshield cut out, mounting tabs welded in place, edges deburred, entire shield polished to prep for chrome, chrome plated, cleaned, wrapped, and finally packaged. Plus multiple inspections along the way for fit and finish.
Kudos to Ryan and Rush Racing for at least standing up and responding to this thread. Many wouldn't.
+1 Agree - reflects integrity and honesty, all pointing to folks with character - mistakes happen...I'd be aggravated to if it happened to me...at least they are listening and responding.
