When we got our K11 Road King at the Eagles Nest in Lathrop, CA, we saw one of those. My wife really liked it (she's into pink and purple). Lucky for me they don't paint Hogs like that!!! I'm really happy with our Merlot/Black motif...
Went to go look at a 2010 Ultra Limited, but fell in love with the 2011 Psychedelic Purple. The 2010 was 3 grand cheaper too!. So far I'm really enjoying the bike. The new frame and the brakes w/ABS are a significant improvement over the 06 Roadie, but the 06 was a smoother riding bike.
In the turns, hands down, the 2011 is much better, coupled with Brembos ABS, probably pushed me over the edge, as I really like the Roadie.
The dealer wanted 3k over MSRP on the 2011 Road Glide Ultras, and I got the Barney Bike for MSRP w/no freight or setup fees, just tax, license, & they paid transfer fees ($30) on my personalized plate. I'm happy!
Gotta showoff the new ride!
what does your plate say, Purple Haze or Purple Rain?
Congrats on the new ride. I am waiting to see the new (cat ****) I mean apple grean/black on a limited. The color looks good on the web. Enjoy your new limited, I know I am.
