I bought a 2011 FLHX merlot with powerpack and cruise for $ 21,100 OTD. Both bikes are more or less the same MSRP. You could do better, however, it is true that HD has cut production and these bikes are hard to find. Therefore, you may need to jump on it if you really want it now. Good luck.
It's all the truth. I'm in mass. Also that price doesn't include sales tax. That is strictly bike cost at the dealership. I have been doing business with them for years. The owner himself is always on the floor. I will still have to pay 6.25% sales tax once I register the bike.
Are you guys comparing apples to apples? The 23K price sounds like the Ultra (FLTRU) and the 20,500 the Custom (FLTRX). Not trying to insult anyone's intelligence... -Mark
this is the FLTRX custom, list price is $18,999 + $480 (color) + $295 cruise + $1995 (103 motor/security/abs) + $380 freight = $22,149 + dealer prep (usually $400-$500) + sales tax ,title,tag & doc stamps ($1,500 - $1,600) = grand total will be over $24,000 out the door

yes Rick I went for it, didn't have the color in stock so they are getting me one, I checked 5 other dealers in this area and they were all $24,100 to $24,400 out the door so I guess $23,023 is not bad for this area, also if I want to trade he offered me $2,000 more on my bike than the other dealers
thats cool tj not everyone is dealing on the 2011 over here where iam at. good luck buddy and ride safe.
Rick

TJ if you go with the trade you will also save on the tax for the amount of the trade. It could save you hundreds. They gave me $ 12,600 on my trade and at 7% tax I saved almost $ 900. That may be your best option.
That $20,500 didn't include the nearly $1,300 of tax he still has to pay. Out the door price for most of us includes tax, title, and license. and black bikes are less due to avoiding the additional fee for color.
Yes my bike is $20,500. The discounted it a bunch. No fees at all. Free cruise. I got the bike for $20,500 plus $1,281.25 sales tax, $75 title, $20 new plate. $21,876.25 out the door
I am picking up my new 2011 Road Glide Ultra this weekend. I had the dealer install the H-D Agitator chrome wheels (16" & 19"), chrome rotors and chrome front end kit. My price was $25,000 out the door including all labor to install. No up charge for color, it's black. I also keep all stock parts inc. stock wheels and tires
