Default Front Caliber bolt socket ????

I have a 09 Ultra. I am putting on Motolights which mount to the caliber bolts. I need a socket to remove the stock bolt. It looks like a inverted Torx bolt. Been to the auto part stores and sears.... no luck. Any ideas ???

The auto parts store will probably have to order it in for you.

I have heard about the 10mm 12 point socket, BUT is there a special socket made for the bolt ???? When I put it back on, it will be with 45 Ft Lbs. Dose Harley have one ???
Thanks

Go to sears and buy yourself a set of 3/8 drive metric 12 point sockets. 10mm is the right one for the caliper.

Don't worry about the 10mm 12 point socket handling the 45 ft lbs of torque. It'll take a lot more than that. I use the 10mm 12 point on mine all the time checking critical fasteners and such. works for me!!

The special socket for the caliper is the 10mm 12 point socket. It's what the dealers and indies use. There is a socket made for the reverse torx bolts but I can't remember the name off hand but I do remember that they won't fit onto the caliper bolt because they're too fat. Once the bolt is off the caliper it'll fit but you can't tighten it down because of the close quarters when installing.

Go to Sears and get a Craftsman 10mm 12 pt. socket as noted by cedarman . While you are there, pick up a 1/4" 12 pt. socket for the pad pin bolt just in case you ever decide to change out your brake pads.
