Default stage 1 kits

Can anyone tell me (new HD rider) what the stage 1 and stage 2 process is? I have a '09 FLHP with 4800 miles.

Stage 1 = fuel, air, exhaust

Stage 2 = stage 1 plus cams

a very simplistic answer.

Just did a stage 1 to my bike. Exhaust and AC plus a TTS Mastertune map install.

It all depends on what you want to do....Check out www.fuelmotousa.com one of our Forum sponsors for some info, they have packages that seem to be the best bang for the buck and power gain. Also depends on if you do the work yourself or have someone do it for you. Canned Map or Custom Map off a Dyno....Starting point will be about $700 and change and then the sky is the limit.....

Search the forum, educate yourself on what you want to do. The more research you do, the more likely you will do what you want the first time. As for exhaust, try to listen to what you are going to buy before you do. It is all very subjective and personal.

Lots of Good info and beware...Too much reading on here makes you spend more....

That will depend largely on what pipes, what tuner you decide on, how much wrenching you'll do yourself, ect., ect.,ect.! If you plan on buying all new stuff, figure at least $800.00 for pipes A/C & tuner. Welcome to the wonderful world of HD! (Hundreds of Dollars!)
