Default Touring Pack?

There is a classified ad on a 08 Ultra Classic. I just learned there's not a touring pack on it. Don't all the UCs come with touring packs? If not i think I think he's trying to rip off somebody.

UC's come stock from the factory with tour packs. I don't understand why you think he is trying to rip people off because he is not including a tour pack in the sale. He is free to include whatever he wants in a sale.

They came stock from the factory with tour paks, but if the bike doesn't have it any longer, and the seller has disclosed that fact, it's not a rip-off. The bike will sell for a little less than it would have had the tour pak still been on it. Not everyone loves the tp. If that's important to you, keep looking. You can't expect every used bike to be in the exact condition it was when it was new.

Thank you, I thought they did. To answer your question he said the bike DID NOT come with it! It's supposed to be a FLHTCU.

If it's an Ultra Classic and he bought it new, he's lying. If he bought it used, then the previous owner didn't included it.

It doesn't take much to remove the tour pack and sell it without.

That even better then, you can get the bike cheaper and make it your own. Some tourpacks go kinda cheap on ebay, just have to watch for them. Good luck.
