FLHT is the electra glide standard. comes with the hardbags, speedo and tach, fuel, and volts. No stereo, no air temp gauge or oil pressure gauge, no tour pack. basiclly it is your bottom line touring bike. I have an 09 and its great, gives you the option to do what you want with it with out spending a ton of money.

An FLTC is an older version of the road glide, called a tour glide classic and has a sharknose look to it. An FLHT is an Electra Glide Standard and has a batwing. Neither are made any more.

I saw an FLTC at Jackman Custom Cycles outside of Frederick, MD a couple weeks ago. Really interesting old bike. The frame mounted fairing looked like a modified Windjammer. Definitely a unique bike.

This is what an FLTC looks like. It's known as a Road Glide now. Loaded touring with a sharknose frame mounted fairing.

If that's a recent picture, that is certainly a well-kept example. You don't see all that many on the road anymore. I'll bet you don't have a hard time finding your bike amongst the sea of black Street Glides and Road Kings.
