same size gauges available from aftermarket- or check the classifieds here at the forums- some guys go to custom faced gauges and sell the stockers cheep
the air temp gauge is universally regarded as useless
I used the Harley kit. The oil pressure is a nice addition. I relocated the temp sensor to the bottom of the triple tree in the open air and it's very accurate. When someone says "man it's hot out here" I can say "well it's 95°". Tweeters were the second option.
yep, the "standard" is a cop bike without the cop lights, kind of stripped down
HD used to offer an oil pressure and air temp gauge kit, I used one when I converted my cop bike into a cloned FLHTCI
BUT
I used the McEwan oil temp guage and tossed the air temp gauge in the trash.
Unfortunately McEwan isn't making them, but on EBAY there is a guy out of Kanukistan (Canada) that offers a similar kit.
When I get an extra 140 bucks, I am going to rip the air temp gauge out of my 13 FLHTK and replace it with an oil temp gauge... what the effn MoFoCo should have put in there to start with.
Hey MoFOCO at least make the gauge kit without that useless thermometer... give us the oil temp gauge
rant over.....
(as for tweeers, get the HOG TUNES DASH TRIM TWEETER POD SPEAKERS )

I'm running JL audio 6.5" C2 components (tweeters in gauge plates and mids in lowers) along with Polk 6.5" co-ax in the fairing with biketronics kit, kenwood head unit and JL amp above head unit. I'm very happy with my system but there is tons of info and options (a lot of which weren't available when I did mine) over in the audio section
I used the dash blank plugs for the Police bikes, removed my worthless air temp gauge, and installed a plug in for my electric liner in one of the holes. The plug is weather proof and allows me a quick disconnect point.
