Default Wax?

Maybe this is in the wrong section. I have a Black Streetglide and was wondering what others recommend for Waxing all the plastic.
Thanks

I saw some plastic polish in Pep Boys yesterday. Forgot the name. I never tried the stuff, so I can't vouch for it.

Is it starting to fade? Mine just needs a wash down to look good as new.

You'll get a ton of different opinions, I use Mequires NXT, few a few years now and I like it. I keep saying Im going to try zanio but never pulled the trigger. Get good microfiber towels no matter what you do you'll eventually end up with small swirls in the right light.

Thanks for the input! It's not fading at all, just starting to get some noticeable wear marks and wanted to some opinions on what other people are using for the most shine

Turtle wax "ICE". clear when wet and dries clear. You can get it on your motor and not leave that white residue afterwards. I wax the door handles and mirrors on my super duty and they look like they have armor all on them afterwards. good stuff! check it out.

I use Meguires NXT synthetic wax on my Vivid Black street Glide. This stuff gives a "show quality" finish. Get a couple good base coats on and the flaws that appear in the finish (like jeans rubbing the fuel tank) will buff right out with a clean cloth. Of course... never "dry wipe" your bike, especially Vivid Black! I would be cautious of using "micro fiber" towels on your bike. The micro fiber will hold particles that can swirl your paint. Not such a big deal on lighter colors, but on darker colors and Vivid Black it can cause swirls. I reccommend "Terry Cloth" towels, or staraight-up soft cotton towels. I've been using them for years on show cars with excellent results.

Meguir's makes good products, do an internet search for some wax named 'Glare', heard some great reviews, kind of pricey though. Pledge is a cheap alternative that works.
