Steeler offered $15,700 for a two tone 2006 Ultra Classic, 4000 mi. built in June 06 WOW!

Is that on a trade for an 07 or a cash price ? Some dealers don't want trades.... they have many in the back room that haven't sold. The 07s have the 6 speed and more cubes. Their prices will hold better due to demand.

SINCE THE 07 HAS THE 6 SPEED AND LARGER ENGINE THAT IS ALSO WORKING AGAINST YOU JUST LIKE THE 88 WORKED AGAINST THE EVO IN 99. A NEW BLACK ULTRA MSRP IS 20,100.00 NOT 22K A LOT OF DEALERS THOUGH STICK YOU WITH 800.00 IN SET UP AND DOC FEES NOT COUNTING TAXES.

WOAH..I read this wrong...I thougth the dealer was offering to SELL a 06 at that price..If his offer to you was $15,700 on a trade, now I feel better, because that is probably TRADE in VALUE. My dealer offered me $15,000 for my 05 UC, which I am considering. I have it listed locally (Vegas), until Nov when a Black UC comes in. $15,000 + the TAX break would put it at $16,162. Still a chunk of change to step up to an 07, which really has no BIG benefit.

Your right there is NO benifit. You cant tell the difference in performance and the 07 owners are full of stories of problamatic transmissions. The latest and greatest isn't always the best!!!
