I currently ride a 1997 electra Glide Standard (FLHT) with Samson straight pipes 33" fishtails, I am looking to improve performance and gain some fuel econemy any ideas as to which baffles to install? I tried Torq converters but I was not satisfied with their performance so I'm looking to install baffles. Any help will be appreciated.
Old timer friend of mine rides 76 shovel with straight pipes, he put baffles in and he said it never ran right, he has been riding that bike since 76. He took them off said now she runs great. So you might not need any
Back pressure requirements are different on a shovel. Does not Samson make baffles for that exhaust? I would give them a call and hear what they suggest. A Samson rep is on this forum. Perhaps he will see this thread and respond.

hello from Samson,
yes we do have baffles for many pipes and i think the 33" fishtails you have would accept baffles but to be sure please give us a call so we may better help you.
thank you,
JR
I love the sound of Samson fishtails. I can't imagine any baffles you find to fit will improve on that sound. Dunno about the performance, though. I ran them on an evo bike, but haven't tried them on a TC.
