Any negative things that i should know about this engine? Crank bearings/ crankshaft /engine life? Want to order one this week for my Road Glide. thanks
They are very new, so not much feedback on them yet. Search this forum for 120R and you will see a handful of recent threads by the HDF members who have got them.

The crank still needs to be done for the engine to have longevity!!! It's a hit or miss without it being done!!! i wouldn't want to risk it paying that much for a motor!!!

What are you basing this on? No one has had a problem yet. I'm not saying it isn't an issue but to assume it is, plays into the hands of naysayers.

Thats one of the things i am concerned about. I see that it has a SE crank longer stroke. One thing i like is i will have the whole 96 together vs. machining it's cases for the kit 120. Really don't want to take the 120R apart would like to just install it. No warranty at all whether they install or me. I'm just putting SE clutch /compensator/D&D FatCat/SE A/F/and either PCV or SEPST with smarttune i have both. Forgot i need the 58mm throttle body and injectors too
Man, I would love to have one of those. I don't have 5G's laying around though. I would completely build that engine first. All the good stuff you can put into it. Then install.

There is no evidence of that! These things are built from scratch by the factory as high output motors. Give them a chance! I'm only disappointed they won't fit my Evo....
