Default Couple issues..

1..My volt gauge reads almost 16v while riding...Hmm. I'll test the voltage at the battery.

2.. I can not select the trip odometer?

Everything else works as it should.

Voltage regulator maybe? Seems the stator is surely workin. I'm almost sure 16v is beyond what is to be expected tho...

Oh, I know it should be 14 or so but from searching on here it seems this is a semi-common issue. The 16v reading that is.

Mine runs 14v or so - never had it go higher than that. What's with the trip meter? When you push the rubber button, nothing happens and the display stays where it is?

Mine always reads a little low, has since day 1. I asked them to check it out and it was fine. I was told that, unless you notice a change, it's probably OK, as the gauge just isn't very accurate.

Yups mine reads about the same. If you lean way over, you can see it is really just above 14 volts. Mine being an 06' I thought I was looking at a recall issue as their was a bulletin put out about it years ago. Turned into a non issue real quick.

I'm gonna say that you probably need a new trip reset button 67450-99. The volts reading high is probably nothing.
