Anyone ever heard of them or tried them? They look good, 4 in. exhaust. You have the ability to make them loud/quiet at the push of the button. Here is the link for the main site. Kind of pricey through National Cycles ($880 or so).
Ya know, with as often as I come home at 3-5am, sometimes during the week even, I've actually thought about this concept before.
I know it'd be easy enough to come up with an actuated dump-tube setup, but they'd look and probably sound/work crappy.
I've always liked the concept of a switchable baffle system that I could make quiet without stopping and sliding baffles into the tubes.
An actuator plate INSIDE the muffler with an electric switch....that's exactly the sort of thing I always thought would be a cool thing to invent. (sadly, I'm no engineer, so never had an idea how to actually build one).
Cool to see someone finally do it.
Had em. They were awesome when they worked. I had trouble with the actuator end of the cables coming loose and out of adjustment and also had a cable break. They sound excellent when open and quiet as stock closed. Took them back off.
