As a retired Indiana State Trooper, I've seen first hand what a 3,000 pound car, or god forbid a 7,000 pound SUV does when it hits a stopped bike, believe me it's no contest, one is dead while the other is watching their 3 year old in the back seat while eating a sandwich while watching the GPS while listening that that big sound system, while talking on a cell phone, ... says, "gee I'm sorry" and then they get their car repaired. l installed the Hiperlites as show and left them in a flash mode when the brakes are applied, these things will burn holes in your eyes they are so bright and can be seen in bright sunlight from 100s of feet away, let's face it, the cage driver's don't worry about being better driver's, they just buy bigger SUV and hope their size will protect them.

Look at the adds on the far right of the pages of this forum and click on the "boogey lights" add and get some ideas.

I'm condiering the Panacea Lights , has anyone tried them or seen them...?
Thanks Jack for the info on the Hiperlites, I'll be getting a set of those also.
My gameplan is to upgrade the brake light and turn signals and make the turns running lights also...

I have the Harley led pods installed when I got the bike, but they didn't quite do it for me. So I added an ElectoPod kit. J&P carries them. I like them!

I have the Panacea system installed, and I am very happy with the LED performanace. It also has the option to turn on or off the pulsing brake light feature. The brake lights are easily visible in day/night.

What is the product that makes the brake lights flash three times when you first hit brakes ? I think HD makes one, is there a cheaper aftermarket ?
