Default What's the difference?

Im about to purchase some adjustable pushrods. Whats the difference between the aluminium ones and the chromeoly? One better then the other?THanks guys

Chromoly is going to be stronger than the aluminum. However, the aluminums are quieter or so they say. I'd go with the chromoly

Chrome-moly is the way to go.

Good lord, why would anyone, besides a dragracer need moly pushrods? If you're bending or braking pushrods I'd think you have bigger issues in the motor, no?

Aluminum pushrods are lighter. Having a light valvetrain is a good thing, both for better performance and from a wear standpoint. At least, that's the theory. (Unless you make the parts so light they break) The Rivera aluminum taper-lites work well, as do the SE tapered quick install pushrods.

As far as one being noisier than the other, I haven't been able to A-B a set of pushrods, so I really couldn't say.

I like the SE tapered. They have a mark on them that makes them simple to adjust. Two and a half turns out and lock them down.
