No actual idea, but if it was me, the ceiling on the price would be about half what it would cost new.
Everything I've read says that is an outstanding motor. All the same, the guys who put those in their bikes aren't doing so because they plan on being gentle with them.
At a minimum, get it mounted in a stand and make sure it turns over without making any horrible noises.
If you know the guy (or if it's a "friend of a friend" kind of deal), maybe.
