The 3 piece pressed cranks are supposed to be the best cranks currently available from any one, aftermarket... there are several vids that S&S put out on those... As for the 2500, yeah thats a pretty good deal. I would try to negotiate a 50/50 type payment till the motor is in a bike so you can hear it running..
The 111" S&S is available as both V111 and T111 and as a bare 'long block' or 'complete'. I bought my V107T 'complete' with carb and IST ignition system (inc 3 year warranty IIRC). A bare engine wouldn't be as attractive as a 'complete' engine with carb and ignition, dynoed and proven IMHO.

Im with 98 on this one .
Wouldnt have any fears with the 3 piece set up as Im not a super aggressive rider & S&S has been selling stroker kits for decades and has a pretty good rep for reliability.
And if seller wouldnt work with me, Id have to walk away. Jmo
Still the holiday weekend, maybe a call tomorrow....
To be honest I'm only slightly more interested in the used engine rather than a new one. Kinda 51/49 split and won't be disappointed in the least if I end up going with the new engine.

If I buy it I'll go get it as I've had bad results with shipping.
