So, the ECU is powering up and running. At least that means you PROBABLY didn't fry it.
So basically it sounds like the one and only thing that's not firing up is the starter motor.
Do you have the security system on it? If the fob isn't recognized as being close by, it'd act like that (but then, it'd flash the lights, too).
Not sure what to check or how, but could something have triggered the security into going into some kind of full lockdown mode? (grasping at straws here, but what the hell)
real dumb thing to throw out, but are you trying to start it in gear or neutral? In gear it should not start if the clutch lever is not pulled in. Also, you could reprogram the fuepac settings with the map you got from V&H and see if that changes anything.
PS- Battery's strong (headlight and running lights bright).
Any luck getting your bike started?
DId you check your battery voltage? Put a voltmeter on the battery and hit the start switch. If the voltage drops and the lights dim, your battery might be too weak to turn the motor over.
If the voltage doesn't drop at all and the lights stay bright, your starter might not be getting any current. Make sure all the connections are tight.
Could also be a bad solenoid.
I'm thinking the bent pin on the ECM connection would be a very long shot. More likely battery, solenoid, connections or start button.
