What is the differance between a seat for a ROAD KING CUSTOM and a seat for a ROAD KING STANDARD ???? And will they or will they NOT enter-change........ I'm confused[sm=dontgetit.gif]
All I can tell ya is the Corbin seat for the Road King has a more square nose where the Custom has a more rounded nose because of the different consoles.
The only thing that is different on any touring model, 97-2007 road king to ultra is the way the tank is trimed, ultra, classic, standard and roadglide have a short tank piece and require a long nose seat or you can use any road king seat if you use the tank trim extension. That said, any road king seat will fit any other road king, they all mount the same but road kings take the short nose seats.
The other difference is that the RK custom has a one-piece seat. And, the regular RK has a two-piece. If you're going to add a backrest to the stock seat, it will be more difficult with the regular RK seat.
