2009 SE 110 Road glide
Im am considering this bike for purchase. Im hearing bad things about the 110 being unreliable. Overheating,bearing failure,
I would like to hear from those familiar with this model. Good or Bad

Did a google search which should prove anything beyond all doubt. It appears that there was a design change for the year 2009. As I recall, the problem in the earlier models was not the much mentioned gasket problem, but a cylinder that would creep up into the head. I do wonder if the moco came out with the 120r engine as a race engine only to get real life riding conditions with no warranty liabilities?

Dude,buy the damn thing & be happy.They all run hot from the factory.The factory sets them up lean.Buy the bike take it to a reputable tuner & have it dyno tuned using a good tuning device(no it won't void the warranty).I would use the TTS, its the cadillac of tuners.The people that make the TTS made the original SERT for HD!! You could change the exhaust,but you don't have to.The new tune with the TTS will add some fuel throughout the rpm range & cool the bike down!!! Enjoy the new bike!!! There is an after market fix for all of Harleys short comings with these bikes!!!

buy it if you can afford it. it is a great bike and the 110 can be controled from a heat standpoint. the biggest issue is heat, cool the thing down by getting it tuned and add some fuel.
