I live in the sacramento CA area and have been kicking around the idea of adding a klockwerks 6.5 or even the 4 in smoke or black. Problem is, once you buy it you can't return if it doesn't work for you. Dealer says once you buy, its yours no returns. Anyone in my area have either windshield that I could come by, put it on and ride to try out? Ill leave my wife or my dog as collateral.
with them sizes gonna be like riding with no windshield unless your shorter then your wife, so just take your stock windshield off and go for a ride, its just cosmetics with the short klock shields
Hey SlowRain, what dealer wil let you try it out? Every dealer I've talked to won't let you test drive it. Hate to spend hard cash on a shield I may not be happy with. Iron steed HD in Vacaville CA has a used bike with a 6.5 smoked klockwerks on it. Maybe I should test ride it to make a decision but not buy the bike. I'm sure they would love that move.
Sorry LEO but I disagree. I have the 6.5 KW and it is a big difference over the stock 6.5. The 4" is cosmetic, but the 6.5 works.
trubrit, depends on your height, torso size and seat your using, I'm 6'2 use a corbin seat which also sits me 1 inch lower,on a long trip I use the stock flht shieldshield.. bar to bar is different
