I've been using the Swirl Free Polish followed NXT protectant/wax to finish. I'm very happy with the results. I HATE swirl marks and micro-scratching on my Black Cherry! I'm a fan of McGuires products.
Eagle One Nano Wax and microfiber towels is all I use. It sure makes the paint look "deep". Its really good stuff and can be found at any auto parts store. Ive tried alot of the others and I really like this stuff the best. Just my 2cents.
I too WAS a fan of Meguires and NXT, but recently tried the Black Magic Liquid Wet Wax and have had great results. It makes the black look so deep and have I received many complimants from it. It is also cheaper - just happend to read about the reviews in one of the magazines at the doctors office - best price, best protection.
After a few years of using Zymol, I tried Mequire's when it got harder to find Zymol. Wow, what a difference! Now I gladly go a couple more miles to buy the Zymol. Better shine, no residue, and easier to remove. After buffing I spray the visible painted parts with distilled water from a sprayer and buff again to achieve a very deep shine indeed.
