Don't know which Meguires you're using, but I think the synthetic Meguires is the best on the market...wax, like oil is very much an opinion though.

I've been using the Swirl Free Polish followed NXT protectant/wax to finish. I'm very happy with the results. I HATE swirl marks and micro-scratching on my Black Cherry! I'm a fan of McGuires products.

I use NXT Tech wax. I'm impressed with it.

Eagle One Nano Wax and microfiber towels is all I use. It sure makes the paint look "deep". Its really good stuff and can be found at any auto parts store. Ive tried alot of the others and I really like this stuff the best. Just my 2cents.

I too WAS a fan of Meguires and NXT, but recently tried the Black Magic Liquid Wet Wax and have had great results. It makes the black look so deep and have I received many complimants from it. It is also cheaper - just happend to read about the reviews in one of the magazines at the doctors office - best price, best protection.

Check out www.hawg-wash.com great site: Great info and they carry the best products.

Be sure to look at their How To section. They have a nice article from a prof. show room detailer on detailing the bike.

Anyway, really like Klasse products, their All In One product is one of the best and their High Gloss glaze has to be seen on a black bike.

I've also started using Menzerna, they have a full line of products that I think are just as good as the Klasse. I love their Hight gloss sealer.

I use NXT, but between waxings for a quick shine I use lemon Pledge and Microfiber towels, one to apply, one to buff. Works great for me.

After a few years of using Zymol, I tried Mequire's when it got harder to find Zymol. Wow, what a difference! Now I gladly go a couple more miles to buy the Zymol. Better shine, no residue, and easier to remove. After buffing I spray the visible painted parts with distilled water from a sprayer and buff again to achieve a very deep shine indeed.
