Default Se performance air install

I JUST FINISHED INSTALLING
Screamin' Eagle® Heavy Breather Performance Air Cleaner Kit - Chrome ON MY 2010 SG

I WENT FOR A RIDE THIS EVENING AND THE BIKE FEELS GREAT AND MORE RESPONSIVE.

BUT IT SEAMS LIKE WHEN I ROLL ON THE THROTTLE I CAN HEAR THAT THING SUCKING AIR ALMOST TO A POINT WHERE IM WORRIED I MIGHT HAVE AN AIR LEAK.

HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS?

they all do that it doesnt have the backing on it, if you will look on the backside of your breather you will see your air filter.it is open now so it gets more air, more power

Normal.
It's how breathing with your mouth wide open sounds.

Did you take off the fuel tank and remove the black bracket that is attached to the heads? I made the same mistake and had about a 1/16" gap on the top 1/3 of the backing plate. You're sucking in unfiltered air if you didn't do that.

Do you have the instruction sheet? It shows an exploded view of where that bracket is and that you need to remove it.
