I just spent over $1000 with this company. Went to put my new chaps on for the third ride - the zippers pulled away from the seam. **** poor craftsmanship.
Called them immediately, and they are going to take them back and credit my card. They can't offer a replacement for eight weeks. I take a large long, nothing special built about what I need.
Their customer service at the point of sale was very good. Once I had a problem, they became a very uncaring, un-personable factory.
The saying is - you get what you pay for - obvious not the case with Fox Creek.
UPDATE: I had the opportunity to talk with several different customer service reps (CSR), all of whom were more indicative of what has been expressed by readers of this forum. I explained that one specific CSR caused me more angst that was necessary. The professionals that worked with me at that point made it right. Seems as though there was no need for a wait on replacement, as they had to items in store (seems a CSR did not take the time to check - according to another CSR).
I took the time to express my concerns, now I wanted to ensure I followed up with the readers of this forum.

I think you will find many on this forum who are going to disagree with you. Fox Creek has an excellent reputation here and their customer service has been excellent. Their products have been of extremely high qualtiy and customer service has been effortless.
I'm not flaming you or blowing off what you are saying in your post, but if you ran a search you will find complete agreement with what I am saying. I'd recommend you try them again some time.
That's eerily similar to the situation I had with my jacket, except that I wasn't offered a refund. I had an issue with sizing with my ($400+) Fox Creek jacket. I now have a very expensive hanger-warmer in my closet.
While they were very helpful with the initial purchase, they were not at all helpful with the returns and sizing.
I have their chaps and jacket, and while I have no complaints with the actual quality of their products, the sizing is odd, and the customer service leaves quite a bit to be desired.
Edited to add- Be prepared for a pig-pile over your thread. You'll find there's a ton of group-think here when it comes to certain vendors.

Are you talking about Fox Creek, or HD? LOL
Must have been Fox Creek because they credited your card.
Never owned a Fox Creek and not in market for any additional leathers currently. Very surprised to hear this however based on the glowing recommendations many on here write.
That bites.......sorry to hear this is how they treated you.
The only sizing issue I had with my jacket was the cuffs were too large. I shipped back the jacket and they tailored the cuff size to my specifications, and at no charge.
When I was buying, they also sent me two jacket sizes to try on. They were very accomodating. I'm not saying things haven't changed, still I'd be surprised if they did.
For the reasons stated on the original post, will never spend that kind of money on line or with a vendor out of my area for clothing of any kind. Look for a leather shop in your area and buy there.
