Default Big Bore Kit

I've got an Ultra Classic on order, and I am considering addition of the big bore kit. Any comments, pro or con on doing this?

Go for it. You will love it. Make sure your dealer has a good mechanic you can trust.

I suggest riding the bike for the first 1000 miles and getting the 1000 mile service done and the bigbore kit at the same time. Riding it first and then putting the big bore kit in will allow you to see how much power you have gained and you will be better equipped to offer suggestions in the future.

Bigger is always better....That's why I ride an Ultra.

Bobby,

I would like to have the 103 too but mine came with the 95 and didn't want to spend the extra cash on a bike I just paid a foutune for. I bet your glide runs great. By the way, who are the great looking girls in you picture, and don't try to tell us it's your girlfriend and her two sisters.

They were the Copenhagen models in Daytona Beach last year. I scooted on over and made nice with them and the one on the left with the nice **** got to inspect the hot tub later that night where we were all staying. A good time was had by all unfortunatley for my buddies I was not able to reel in the other two.....................I love Bikeweek and am returning next March with about 12-14 of us. so many stories and so little time[8D]

I agree. I got mine done at 1000 miles and was really pleased with the increased performance.

By all means do it.
I have 55,000 miles on my 95" kit and 95,000 miles on the bike.
It was worth every penny.

You'll like the results, one thing pointed out here is that if you have it done before you pick up the bike verses doing it at 1000 mikes, is the warrantee on the work done, see if the big bore is covered for the duration of the warrantee if it is done before pickup verses only a certain miles if done at 1000 miles, not sure here but worth checking into.
