1550 big bore kit

Default 1550 big bore kit

I am getting the big bore kit put on my 01 Night Train. I was wondering if their is anything else I should change while I am in the engine? More HP or TQ............ Thanks

..just wondering ...what did it cost you. I bought an '01 Ultra with the 1550 kit in it..but could only put on 5 miles, before storing it for the winter..

To get the big bore kit installed and have the jugs diamond cut i am paying around $1400. I hope it is worth it...................

Unless you are doing cams w/ bigbore,you will notice very little difference

Just 2 weeks ago I had a set of SE 203 cams installed.

Should run decent. I had a 03 ntrain with 95 ,203 cams ,42 carb and propipe and it was dynoed at 86 hp and 97 torque.It was a fun bike ,just not too comfy lol.

efi or carb???
if it efi get the tts or sest from hd. dont go with the download.

Agreed.
Now, install a Wood 6, or Andrews 37, or R&R .525, and have your cylinder heads re-worked to run any of those grinds, and now your talking about something that will impress you, and distress your friends.

Ditto! Although I went with S&S 570 with head mods. Close to same result

WOODS TW-6G all the way, great torque cam. Nice looking ride strange 1!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK IN YOUR BUILD.
