The 2011 Ultra Limited is not holding air in the rear shocks. I bought the HD hand pump to make sure I get the right PSI. I have been running 50PSI. But every time I check the AP it is low, and last weekend took the wife to Breckenridge (about 200 mile round trip) and on the way back I noticed that we were hitting hard again. Is it normal for the rear suspension to leak air so badly, any advice? Thanks Mike
Just push in on all the hose connections. If that doesn't do it then push in on the red collars and remove the air lines. Then reinstall the lines by firmly but gently pushing in the line until it seats. Hope that helps. Also do you have an oil leakage on one of your shocks? If it is leaking air then it is in most probability leaking oil also.
If not take it back to the dealer for this obvious warranty job!

I don't know about the newer models, but my 03 Ultra will only accept 35 psi max. in the rear shocks. Be careful to not overfill them or you may damage a seal and they'll leak. A quick check is the soapy water suggested by slothy.

Nope its not normal,,Take the bike to your dealer and make them solve the problem,,Its a brand new bike,,that shouldnt happen. It will leak some air but not that fast.
FYI - HD raised the maximum a few years ago to 50 PSI. In the manual, it states to never exceed 50. That PSI is recommended for a fully loaded bike with a 300lb rider/passenger weight.
