According to various articles on the web, HD sued Gruppo Izzo. Some of the claims seem to be:
1. Izzo makes little effort to sell HD bikes, and has recently entered into exlusive brand agreements with competitors of the moco.
2. Izzo has been accused of refusing to repair bikes UNDER WARRANTY as required by HD, and that they may have charged buyers for warranty repairs AND also billed HD for the same repairs.
3. Izzo may have sold conterfeit parts labelled as genuine HD.
HD won their lawsuit, and a Brasilian court terminated Izzo's exclusive contract, thus allowing HD to issue contracts to other dealers in Brasil.
Izzo appealed, and in June 2010, a Brasil higher court re-instated Izzo's right to be the ONLY authorized dealer in Brasil until 2015. The court also seems to have ruled that HD could take no punitive action against Izzo for any breach of contract, or hold Izzo accountable in any way to honor is contractual obligations.
I don't know what else the moco can do. It sucks for the customers in Brasil, because bikes break and parts fail. The moco is now restrained by the court from assisting these customers in any way. If Izzo won't do the work, then it is now illegal for HD to pay someone else to do the work. The court will allow HD to appeal, but ordered the moco to leave things as-is until they win such an appeal.
NOTE: I used translator software to read many of the articles, and I have no way to know if the articles I translated were legitimate or not (as is always the case on the web), or whether I have properly understood the issue. Perhaps the OP can shed light? I'm putting this disclaimer here so Izzo or HD don't sue me for this post!

Maybe one day someone will show up with a clever application for this valve
People are just not interested in their work today like they were in the past...[/QUOTE]
That's a sad but true fact. There just doesn't seem to be the pride in American workmanship like it used too. All the cheap junk coming into this country from china and nothing going out and we wonder why the unemployment is so high
Man Oh Man... I feel for ya, Had the Frame Weld Fail....
