Default Weld failure

coming from a short trip (400 km) suddenly my EG begun to make a very loud noise, as if the mufler had fallen. Stoped and found a weld failure. Bike is only 5 months old, 6350 km and has never fallen.

Looks like it was never welded.

Not susprised, when I changed my pipes I found my all of my header nuts finger tight on the studs, with 2500 miles.......

Quality is NOT what it was, and likely never will be.

People are just not interested in their work today like they were in the past...

looks like a warranty issue if it's all factory stuff.

Yes, everything stock. Never added or changed a single screw.

Time to go ahead and change exhaust. I never new what my bike sounded like with stock exhaust on it.

Guess QC missed another one - time to execute warranty repair. That's a tough break for you, but at least it will be corrected & hopefully you're back on the road soon.

Well since they are going to have to swap out the exhaust under warrenty, it's time to upgrade to a better pipe.

Here in Brazil, HD never honored a warranty. This is not the first case here in Brazil and nobody had the part replaced. Never replaced/fixed a single defective tire, compensator or anything else. We have to look for a good lawyer (Counselor?) and go to the court. It's the only way to make HD honor warranty.
