Any help would be appreciated....
My problem is headlight is not working. i have tested fuse, it's good... taken headlight assembly apart, put volt meter on and tested power to plug and am not getting any power to light. All other lights are working. Turn signals, brake, emergency etc....
Is there a relay or something i am missing?. I have traced wiring best i can without taking bike apart (this would be bad on my part) or is there a junction somewhere i am not seeing?.
Thanks, Rick
Had the same problem wit my 2005 RK. After checking fuses and all connections. I was getting no power up to the switch or light itself. I did have power on the fuse side at the fuse box. However, no power coming out of the back side of the fuse block. Simple fix, just a loose connection where the wire plugs into the back of the fuse block. Simple, but hope this helps before you tear into it.
Not getting power in either. I took switch housing apart once to see if i was getting power to it. I didn't find a place to connect my metor. Or i just didn't look well enough. I will take it apart again and see if i missed something. Thank You
2005 Harley Davidson Road King Classic Headlight/Passing lights not working
About a month ago I replaced my stock headlamp/passing lights with daymakers. Everything was fine until I replaced the trim rings on those three lights, after I replaced the trim rings, I attempted to turn the lights on and I got nothin. No high beam or low beam. Everything else works on the bike except those 3 lights. I havent had the chance to check the fuse yet do to the weather and I dont have a garage. If anybody could help me out with some advice or an idea as to what to do, it would be greatly appreciated.
