Have those who have had V&H Ovals (not the Monster Ovals) on for awhile been happy with the chrome wear and quality over time? Is it very difficult to clean between the two pipes?

Thanks
I had ovals on my 07 for 40K miles. Chrome was still in great shape. I used S100 polishing soap to keep them look good. I'd also wipe them down with tar remover to get the road grime off.
Tar remover and a toothbrush to clean the ends. Worked for me.

I have a set in box with some miles on them which I bought from another member, used about 8 months then switched to MO's. (got to get busy selling them one of these days)
Point is..........when I took them off I polished them up to store and they look great. Very impressed with the finish quality and was no issue cleaning the "tips." Still have a set on the wife's and they are looking good after it's occasional bath so IMO no problem.
BTW.......I am something of a muffler changing freak, this style has been around awhile but still great sounding/looking mufflers. Enjoy!
