I bought one about 6 months ago.
Damn thing has yet to make it out of the packaging.
Your odometer can give you the codes as easily as this thing can.
If you INSIST on buying one...PM me, I'll hook a brutha' up!
Otherwise, save your money.
would this work to tell me a security code for reprograming new key fobs the dealer is telling me that if the security sys is locked I need to buy a new TSSM 285$ seems like it would be just as easy for me to do it with this.
I tried this one and as someone else said you can get the same info from the odometer. I finally bit the bullet and bought one of the MS5650 scanners. This tool is great, gets me all the info I need. Warning it is a little pricey, best price I got was from a company called Griffin Tools & Supply out of Illinois.
It is an expensive piece of equipment but I work on all types of bikes and scooters and I have not found one it will not work with. I orginally bought just the HD and BMW cables but then quickly added the Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki cables. One of the better investments I've made.
