Keep in mind not only the sound of the mufler, but also its looks. Do you want the brand's name to be seen on the exaust? I use the Rush brand, they have a good sound and a clean look, but the brand name is not stamped in the metal. The look of the slip-on has a big effect on the bike's street appeal.
Agree. Had Rush slip-ons on my Street Glide until i recently changed to a FatCat 2in1 pipe. Rush makes a very good quality pipe for about half the price of Rinehart and V&H. Like you, i don't like having logos on everything and was glad to see the FatCat didn't have any either.
I love my V&H fishtails. Fantastic quality, was really impressed with them for aftermarket parts. Sound great with the regular baffles, even with the cat on my bike.
I have never heard any thing like the CFR , NEVER ! I listened to a you tube video clip and I was so Impressed , I went from a Big Supporter of the V&H Rounds to the CFR and you will be too once you listen to them. They are amazing !!!
