Im looking to get some floating rotors and have been looking at the HDs with the black centers (see attached) I like the black and chrome contrast but how do you think they would look on my bike?
They would look great. Please mail me your old rotors. I'll gladly dispose of them for you....That is after I spend 5 bucks on some sandpaper and about an hour to polish them out like mirrors. Seriously, if you upgrade and want to sell your old rotors let me know.
Not going to look very good. I thought about them for my Sierra Red FLTRI with the silver spoke wheels, and I get squeamish. If I could paint the black or sand it off, they'd be OK. Be VERY cool if we could match the color of our bike.
Thanks for the input. Im leaning towards the black, I think it will be okay. The brake calipers are black and silver and so is the motor. Also I think it will set off the chrome sliders even more with the contrast behind them. Oh XXX I will send over those stockers for 198....lol.. need to cover the cost of the floaters.. ;-)
