I'm very interested in purchasing a new LED headlight and passing lights.
I did see; in one of this forum's threads, LED headlights that had a black appearance to the reflector.
I also read in the associated threads that the reflector was a very intergal part of how the LED disperses light.
Can anybody supply me with the link to the LED headlights with the black looking reflector?
I paid 494 from aps and picked up the ring for 50 at local dealer. 419 complete!! you did good!! I look at buying electronical stuff with an attitude of expect to see it for less, and next month it will cost half...
HD would sell more of these if they would put them on display so we could see them instead of expecting us to buy them just by the picture. I guess that's expecting too much.
When the HD ones were first introduced my dealer and I took one from the package and hooked it up to a battery on the counter - damn, that thing is bright!
I've got the HD headlight and aux. lamps. Ive only been out at night once since the install, but wow. the high and low beam arent much different, other than the level of the light cutoff height. the aux. lights really light things up side to side. I was impressed with the overall light output. I would expect similar results with the black reflectored ones.
