i have 16 inch apes on my 07 Electra glide .. one thing i did learn the hard way is that the apes tend to crack between the riser clamp.. if internal wire holes are drilled they will eventually crack there.. my buddy had same thing happen on his Road King with 12 in apes.. i just had mine re welded back up and plated and put back on.. but i will say this i Love them and they are comfy for me to ride. this coming from someone that has a completely blown out rotator cuff in the right shoulder..

12" Yaffe monkey bars. Love these bars cant get enough looking at them.

You need to use the one piece riser clamp.
