Default Clarks custom windshield

I am curious how the 8" flat top works. They say you can hear your speakers better.I wondered how the block the wind. Also wondered what they look like sitting on the bike. The pics on the website only show views looking at the front of the bike.Do the sides run along the fairing? Anyone try these?

I had a half moon from clarks and they do work. The shield follows the lines of the fairing for 2 to 3 " on each side

Look at my sig pic,

don't know about the flat-top...? i have the half moon wing...i've had it for 3 full seasons, and really like it. good protection, good product and a pretty good price. might not be the most stylish, but very functional.

Here's a pic of the 8" flattop on my 05 Ultra. I'ts great around town in the summer, but for long trips I go back to the 10" or 12"

I like them a lot. I use the 8" in town in the summer, the 10" the rest of the time unless we're actually on a long trip, then the 12" goes on. All flattops, the shorter ones are dark tinted, the 12" is light tinted.

. I have the 8" flat top as well and I use it yearround. I like to look over the shield all the time. It does follow the contour of the fairing very well. As for the speakers sounding better I would have to say that it is true although not a huge difference it is noticeable. All in all a quality shield at a good price Oh I forgot the wider shield keeps the rain off of your hands too. I give it an A

I have the 14" flat top because i travel the highway alot and it really cuts down on the wind and yes you can hear your radio better. I really like mine and would buy it again.

Default Clarks Windshields

I put a 6 1/2 inch flat top on my Street Glide. Let's me see over top and still knocks the wind up over my head. (5' 8") Helps with the speakers as well. I use it all the time, long and short trips. Great product it does look a little different at first but you get use to it.

I have an 11" half moon and a 14" flat top "wintershield". Very happy with both. Also, Pat and Robin are great people to deal with.

Ride safe,

Bob.
