why wouldn't the mirrors be functional? Is the rotation limited such that it wouldn't point down and away?

After awhile you will wish you went with the taller bar.

Functional meaning are his arms going to be blocking the mirrors view

With 10" bars the hands will definitely be right in the middle of the mirrors. Mine cut off the top 1/4 of the mirror with 13"

I would like to do hangers this winter. Is it more comforable or less than stock? I have been told both

I love my 10" PYO's and have never wished I went bigger and still use my fairing mirrors.

I find mine way more comfy but comfort is different for everyone. i really like the seating position, it is more up right and i don't have to reach for the bars or bend forward. i wish i had went taller though

Funny, I had both of these bars on my Road Glide (The road glide version obviously). I found the PYO's too far forward. Not enough pullback. Guess I have short arms. I swapped over to the Wild1 WO515s and they were great.

Later to changed to WO502s (12.5" bars). Like they say about apes, spec the bar you want and then go higher!

I have the wild1 575's. Their quality is really topnotch. Great post of the diferences. I am sure someone will take the other set off your hands if you're willing to part with them.
