Im trying to find out how I can make 07 street glide gas tank work on a 95 ultra classic. Mainly the fuel pump and the fuel gauge. Also can I put an in line pet **** on the fuel line and expect fuel to flow freely.
Why not? Fuel flows according to gravity and last I checked, both tanks are located above the throttle body or carb. An inline fuel valve will be needed and leave the top plate on.
I highly doubt that you can make an injected tank work on a carb bike.
I might be wrong . . . an expert is bound to chime in eventually.
I don't regard myself as an expert! But it can be done and I have done it. I have a recent 6 gallon tank without the efi stuff that goes inside and used a Pingel gas tap and adapter. They make an adapter for both single and twin outlet tanks, plus a blanking plug for the spare hole in early twin outlet tanks.
With a Pingel tap fuel flow should be better than the stock tap. I haven't solved the fuel gauge yet on my 1990 FLHS yet, but am thinking of cutting a hole in the top of the tank to take my original one.

Reason: Expanded.
is it possible to use the fuel pump in the gas tank for the carburetor. what about using a regulator to regulate fuel flow to the carburetor while using the fuel pump
