Default PCIII Mounting ???

I just recieved my PCIII from Fuel Moto and where the instruction say to mount the stock ECM connector to the bottom of the battery tray I have what looks like an evap canister right in the way. Is there an alternative way to mount this thing or is there an easy way to delete the evap can?

on my 06 I was able to mount it below the ECM with it still fitting under the side panel. I just zip tyed everything real tight and it all fit. some of the cables you have to bend and squeze up into available holes and spaces.
