I just ordered 3 trim rings for my '14 RK. Looks pretty sharp. Cheapo Amazon.
Couple things, I got the headlight one tightened all the way up, no gap at the bolt, but there's a space all way around between the inside of the ring and the lamp? Any ideas? I'm afraid water will lay in there?
Passing lights ones, I got tightened all the way closed, but you can juggle the bulbs/bulb housings a little. I'm afraid at idle the vibration will ruin the bulbs.
Any suggestions? Might try finding some kinda trim to make gaskets and try to hide them not to look bad. IDK
Nice find! Did it come with the leather tourpak, or did you add it? I've been trying for a couple of years to talk the OL into getting that.
EDIT: Just saw your post on another thread re: replacing the leather TP.
A friend of mine had the leather TP from his RK and never used it. I lent him a generator which was ultimately stolen. Rather than buying me a new genny, he gave me the leather TP. I love the look of the leather one but this one, although it is just a cheap ebay model, is more comfortable for my wife. Happy wife happy life...
this has been the best $5K I have spent in a long time.
