I put a set of rims like yours on my 2012 with black walls. Bike originally came with the real narrow whitewalls.
I do like the wide whitewalls with wire spoked rims but they are heck to keep looking nice.

White walls
I love my White walls. If you want to keep them looking good they have to be maintained or they will look horrible. They give the bike a whole different look. Go for it !
