I had the V&H Power Duals installed on my 10 Ultra Classic Limited with stock mufflers. Very small increase in DBs. I had a download done upon install. This spring I will have a dyno tune done.
I have the V&H power duals and monster rounds on my 2010 Limited. The monster rounds were a bit much for my liking on long rides and wore on me. I am now trying out the Screaming Eagle mufflers. They are a bit quieter and sound pretty good under acceleration. I did a three day trip with them a couple of weeks ago and they too started getting to me. I may go back to the stock mufflers. Don't get me wrong though, they both sound great. I only use this bike for long trips and the constant drone gets old after a while.
My ears must be worse than I thought, cause I don't hear any drone at all. Matter of fact I'm installing a tach cause I can't shift by ear anymore. I used to have V&H Bigshots on my Fatboy, so the Monster Rounds are Library Quiet for me.
I like the look and sound of the Monster Rounds. Not a lot of them out there yet either since they are new this year. Take a look at my video for a sound bite.
Here's a few pics for looks. . .
I'm leaning to the V&H Monster Rounds also and thanks for the pictures and video. That helped.

'10 RK installed the power duals with stock mufflers, reduced the heat problem and gave me a much better sound. I figure it will get louder with use , only 4k on it now.
+1
Stock pipes sound good with the Power Duals. Much cooler..
Seeing a lot of 2011 Ultra Road Glides in Merlot around here. I just picked up one last Saturday, only got a 100 miles on her. Just need a little warmer weather to get out.
Had V&H power duals put on, left my stock mufflers on until I can decide on a quiet pair of slip ons. Probably going to wait till spring when I can get around more and hear some other bikes. Never heard the bike without the power duals so not sure how much it increased the dbs. Its a good sound but still want something a little deeper sounding. NOT louder but just that deep growl..
