My report: I had one on the bike for almost 3 years, and just could not get used to it. Just recently switched to a Sundowner w/MCC memory foam mod, and it is much more comfy on the ***. I gave the Mustang a hell of a chance, 3 long trips and 15k+ miles, but it was just not for me.
I had them (Mustangs) on a couple of previous touring Harleys. Liked them a lot. Mustang is working on a new heated seat option for seats fitting the model years 2008 and newer. If you are interested in a Mustang and possibly a heated option, you might want to wait until January or whenever the new heated models come out. Either way, you will probably like the seat.
I have not pulled the trigger on a seat for my 2010 Ultra quite yet, but I still lean toward the Mustang. I do want to look at some of the others, and also read some about the experiences of other owners before I make a decision.
Save yourself some $$$ & the frustration of trying to find a new seat that works with these three words...Mean City Cycles. I got the double memory foam mod & it's 1000x better than stock at 1/2 price of finding new seat.
