Default visibility

I own a 2005 Ultra Classic and have been thinking of adding LED lights to increase my visibility to the cage drivers. Has anyone used the HID headlights or the LED turn signals for the tour pak? I was also looking at the new wrap around tour pak kit Harley have out but it is pretty pricey.

Thanks

I also have a 2005 Ultra. I added the run/brake/turn option for the tail lights AND the tour pak. I also have the "Back Off" flasher for the tail lights. I haven't felt the need to go to LEDs, but every little bit helps.

Does this option just use the existing lights on the bike?

I have RideTime technologies tail light (100 LEDS) and HD spolier on my tour pach with about 30 LEDs. They show up as brake and running lights. On order are the new HD headlight and passing lights.......The front fender tip light is now LED from harley.

Welcome, I purchased LED's for my 08 ultra. I did everything except for the tour pak. It was a little pricy but i feel it was worth the extra visability. I used custom dynamics for all. They have an awesome customer service ( they actually answer their phone and help you with the install if needed) Hope this helps Good luck

Yhanks everyone for the info. I hadn't thought of the front fender light. Does changing this out to LED make much of a difference?

I changed out the front fender bulb on my old EG Standard with an LED and the smoked lens. It didn't really add that much light or visibility. It was really just another part of the smoked out look.
