Question Part Number Help?

I'm looking for the part number on the rear light wiring harness that runs from under the seat, under the fender, and powers the tail light and rear directional lights on an '08 Road King...... Part number can be found on a sticker/tag where the wiring harness exits the rear fender and goes under the seat. You can see this tag in the pictures here

If anyone has that info handy I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks!

Try this link:

http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....m_oem/hdmc.asp

put in your year, then select model, then assembly.

find your part and select it, the HD part number will show in the shopping cart.

Thanks that link was very helpful for some other parts I need, but I don't think it lists the harness PN I'm looking for. Either that or I'm a buffoon and can't find it (entirely possible).

Took awhile but I found it. The part # is 68772-06. Click the part number to see where I found the answer.

Throwing this here in case anyone finds this thread while looking for the same answer.

Thanks again, mkguitar -- that parts finder is the ****.

Not trying to be a smart-*** (really), but you can probably pick up a used parts catalog on Ebay for a good price. They are really worth the price if you do any work for yourself. Even if you don't need part numbers, the exploded-view drawings are great to see where everything goes and how it all fits together.

I understand what you're saying and normally you'd be right. But I'm mounting a Road King rear fender on a Wide Glide. This is the only stock part I needed so I'm not going to bother having a parts book or touring service manual shipped to my house for that. All lighting/mounts are either one-off or after market.

Got it. Thats one of the great things about this forum. Someone usually has the answer you are looking for.
